Relax at the springs in style sporting this Florida-inspired bougainvillea motif bikini bottom. A teal background contrasts beautifully with the bright pink flowers. Green anole lizards camouflage slyly in the leaves. Change up your look and fit by folding the high waistline down for a low cut look, revealing a complementary green band and the Floridian Design logo of Mermaid and Alligator. Comfy to wear all day at the springs, the beach or by the pool. Based on original watercolor paintings by me, inspired by sunny days exploring the gem-like springs of my native state, Florida.

Cheeky fit
Double-layered and non-reversible
Tear-away care label
Zig-zag stitching

Materials

81% Recycled polyester
19% Lycra

Recycled polyester (rPET for short) is a fabric that’s produced from synthetic fibers. Recycled polyester is produced by recycling existing materials (like plastic bottles and packaging) but still has all the characteristics and performance of a regular polyester, making it a more sustainable fabric alternative.

Recycled polyester is made by crushing plastic products into small pieces. These small pieces are then processed into yarn, transformed into a fiber, and in the end—made into a fabric.

Producing rPet takes 33% to 53% less energy than creating polyester from scratch. Also, rPet produces approximately 54.6% fewer CO2 emissions to the air than virgin polyester.
